Meet the Counselor
Alison Weix LPC-IT
There are seasons in life when the weight you carry becomes too heavy to hold alone. When your body feels tired in ways you can’t explain, when relationships feel strained, or when old wounds begin to echo through the present. Therapy is not about “fixing” you, it’s about creating a space where your experiences are understood, your emotions are welcomed, and your pace is respected.
I’m Alison Weix, LPC-IT, a trauma‑informed counselor serving the Eau Claire area, and all of Wisconsin through in‑person and telehealth sessions. I support adults, couples, children (7+), and families who are navigating grief and loss, emotional dysregulation, relationship strain and communication breakdowns, family dynamics, identity shifts(especially around pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood), feeling stuck, disconnection, or unsure how to move forward.
My approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you already carry the capacity to heal. You just don’t have to do it alone. Together, we slow down, notice what’s happening inside and around you, and build a relationship that helps you feel steadier, more connected, and more yourself.
This is a place where you don’t have to be “on.” A place where your nervous system can soften. A place where healing becomes less about striving and more about being met.
You are not alone in this. When you’re ready, I’m here.
